Key Responsibilities
Ensure fire safety measures are implemented throughout the factory premises.
Inspect fire extinguishers, hydrants, fire alarms, smoke detectors, and other firefighting equipment.
Conduct regular fire safety inspections and identify potential fire hazards.
Ensure safe storage and handling of inks, solvents, chemicals, and flammable materials.
Conduct periodic fire safety training and emergency evacuation mock drills for employees.
Maintain fire safety registers, inspection reports, training records, and maintenance records.
Ensure emergency exits, fire escape routes, and safety signage are properly maintained.
Coordinate with authorized agencies for firefighting equipment servicing and statutory compliance.
Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and BRCGS audits related to safety requirements.
Investigate fire incidents and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Required Skills
Practical knowledge of firefighting equipment and emergency response.
Knowledge of industrial fire prevention and electrical safety.
Experience in conducting mock drills and employee training.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Knowledge of statutory fire safety requirements.
