The Tour & Travel Sales Executive will be responsible for handling inquiries, designing customized tour packages, converting leads into sales, and coordinating with internal teams and vendors. The role requires excellent communication, travel knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver high–quality service to clients for both domestic and international destinations.
Respond promptly to all inbound leads via phone, WhatsApp, email, and website.
Understand customer requirements and travel preferences in detail.
Create tailored domestic and international tour itineraries as per customer needs.
Convert leads by explaining package highlights, pricing, inclusions, and value.
Conduct follow-ups to increase conversion ratio and reduce lead leakages.
Maintain daily sales activity records in CRM (Bitrix24 mandatory).
Prepare well-structured, cost-effective itineraries for domestic and international destinations.
Suggest best hotels, flights, sightseeing options, transfers, and activities.
Prepare customized quotations with detailed inclusions/exclusions.
Ensure packages meet customer budget and travel dates.
Negotiate with hotels, DMCs, and suppliers for competitive pricing.
Prepare final package cost sheet and secure customer approval.
Close bookings by ensuring the collection of token and full payments.
Up-sell and cross-sell additional travel services (flights, visas, activities, insurance, meals, transfers, etc.).
Coordinate with the operations/purchase department for hotel confirmations.
Ensure timely submission of guest details, ID proofs, special requirements, etc.
Provide customers with booking vouchers, itineraries, invoices, and confirmations.
Maintain accuracy in information shared with operations and vendors.
Build strong relationships with clients for repeat and referral business.
Handle customer queries and ensure proper pre- and post-travel support.
Resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction and company reputation.
Maintain customer communication logs in CRM (Bitrix24 mandatory).
Update CRM timely with follow-ups, lead status, and booking details.
Report daily/weekly sales performance to the reporting manager.
Follow company SOPs, pricing guidelines, and sales protocols.
Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets and OKRs.
3. Required Skills & Competencies
Experience in quotation preparation and itinerary designing.
Proficiency in MS Excel, WhatsApp Business, Email, and CRM usage (Bitrix24 preferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Strong negotiation and convincing ability.
Customer-centric mindset with patience and empathy.
Problem-solving approach and ability to handle pressure.
Self-motivation and discipline in follow-up.
4. Qualifications & Experience
Graduation or Diploma in Tourism, Business, or related field preferred.
Applicant with 1–3 years of experience in travel sales (domestic or international) will be preffered.
Freshers with strong communication and passion for travel may also apply.
Knowledge of passport, visa procedures, and air ticketing is a plus.
