Core Job Duties & Responsibilities
Client Consultation & Needs Assessment:
Talk with clients to understand their travel goals, preferred styles, group size, and budget.
Recommend ideal destinations, local attractions, and seasonal highlights.
Itinerary Planning & Customization:
Design tailored daily schedules, excursions, and travel routes.
Calculate package pricing, prepare cost estimates, and present professional quotations.
Reservations & Logistics Coordination:
Book flights, hotel stays, ground transport, and car rentals using booking software.
Coordinate directly with vendors, tour operators, and airline suppliers to secure confirmed rates and availability.
Documentation & Compliance Support:
Assist clients with visa applications, passport requirements, and travel insurance options.
Inform travelers about local custom laws, currency tips, weather conditions, and health/safety guidelines.
Customer Support & Issue Resolution:
Provide pre-trip details, manage mid-trip changes or cancellations, and process refunds or penalties.
Handle unexpected travel emergencies (such as weather delays or flight cancellations) with prompt alternative solutions.
Sales & Relationship Management:
Upsell extra features like travel insurance, upgraded lodging, or special guided tours.
Maintain client databases, handle secure payments, and follow up for feedback to encourage repeat business.
