Travel Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and career-focused Travel Operations Executive to join My Travel Company. The candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end travel operations, ensuring seamless service delivery for our clients. Hands-on experience with GDS systems (Amadeus / Galileo / Sabre) and other travel tools will be preferred. Comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate with the willingness to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute complete itinerary planning including flights, hotels, transfers, and other travel requirements.

• Work on Global Distribution Systems (GDS) for ticketing, reissuance, cancellations, and fare searches.

• Handle hotel reservations and coordinate with suppliers/partners for smooth confirmations.

• Ensure accuracy in bookings, PNRs, and itineraries.

• Maintain updated knowledge of travel portals, vendor tools, and industry practices.

• Provide clients with professional support through soft-spoken and polite communication.

• Manage operational queries, resolve discrepancies, and deliver excellent client satisfaction.

• Coordinate closely with the sales and accounts team for seamless workflow.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in or willingness to learn GDS systems (Amadeus / Galileo / Sabre).

• Familiarity with other travel tools and portals (training will be provided).

• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

• Excellent written & verbal communication; soft-spoken and customer-friendly.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.

• Problem-solving attitude with career orientation and growth mindset.

Qualification & Experience

• Graduate / Diploma in Travel & Tourism or related field preferred.

• 0–3 years of experience in travel operations.

• Freshers passionate about the travel industry are encouraged to apply (training will be provided).
