Job Summary: The Travel Desk Employee will be responsible for managing and coordinating all travel arrangements for employees, ensuring a seamless travel experience. This role involves booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and handling travel-related inquiries, all while adhering to company policies and budget guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel Arrangements: Book and confirm flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services for employees based on their itineraries, preferences and budget limits.
Vendor Liaison: Communicate with travel vendors, travel portals, and resolve any issues that arise during the travel process.
Policy Adherence: Ensure all travel bookings comply with company travel policies and budget constraints.
Support Services: Provide travel-related support to employees, including itinerary changes, cancellations, and emergency assistance.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of travel arrangements, invoices, and expenses for reporting and analysis.
Customer Service: Address employee inquiries and concerns regarding travel arrangements in a professional and timely manner.
Travel Analytics: Assist in compiling data on travel patterns and expenses to support budgeting and policy development.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the travel experience and optimize travel costs.
GST: Ensure that GST Invoices are taken as far as possible with correct state wise GST number.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in travel coordination or related roles; familiarity with travel booking systems is a plus.
