Job Summary:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Travel Consultant to assist customers in planning and booking their travel needs. The ideal candidate should be passionate about travel and delivering outstanding customer service, with the ability to create tailored travel experiences for clients.
Understand clients' travel preferences and provide suitable travel options.
Plan, organize, and book travel arrangements such as flights, hotels, transportation, and tours.
Provide detailed information about destinations, travel safety, visas, weather conditions, and local customs.
Customize travel packages to meet client needs and budgets.
Process payments and issue invoices, confirmations, and itineraries.
Stay updated with travel trends, destination knowledge, and travel industry regulations.
Handle changes, cancellations, and emergencies professionally.
Upsell travel products such as insurance, guided tours, and upgrades.
Build long-term relationships with clients through excellent service.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred (Hospitality, Tourism, or related field).
Proven experience in travel planning or sales is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo) is a plus.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Customer-focused approach with problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office and online booking platforms.
Office-based or hybrid (depending on company policy).
Fast-paced, client-facing role requiring time management and accuracy.
