Job Description

A Telesales Executive sells products/services over the phone, contacting potential and existing customers to meet sales targets, generate leads, and build relationships, requiring strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills to handle inbound/outbound calls, resolve issues, and maintain CRM records. Key duties include pitching products, upselling, processing orders, following sales scripts, and ensuring customer satisfaction, all while aiming to exceed daily/monthly sales goals. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to potential/existing customers and handle inbound inquiries.

  • Present, explain, and sell company products/services, including upselling/cross-selling.

  • Generate leads and identify customer needs.

  • Achieve individual and team sales targets.

  • Maintain accurate records of calls, sales, and customer interactions in CRM systems.

  • Follow sales scripts and provide feedback on market trends.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships for repeat business.

  • Resolve customer complaints and issues professionally. 

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, persuasion, problem-solving, time management, and customer service skills.

  • Traits: Customer-oriented, persistent, able to work under pressure, and good at following scripts.

  • Knowledge: Deep product knowledge and understanding of industry trends.

  • Experience: Previous experience in sales or a related field is often required.

  • Can specialize in inbound (receiving calls) or outbound (making calls) sales.
