Telecalling Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management:

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of credit card sales agents (field/tele-sales/in-branch).

  • Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for the team.

  • Monitor individual and team performance using KPIs.

• Sales Operations:

  • Drive credit card sales through effective team planning and execution.

  • Identify opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency.

  • Assist team members in closing high-value deals or resolving customer objections.

• Training & Development:

  • Provide regular training on product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance.

  • Conduct role plays, refreshers, and one-on-one coaching sessions.

  • Identify underperformers and create performance improvement plans.

• Reporting & Analytics:

  • Track daily/weekly sales and submit reports to senior management.

  • Analyze sales trends and suggest improvements to strategies.

• Compliance & Quality:

  • Ensure all sales are conducted in compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.

  • Perform quality checks on customer applications and interactions.

  • Address and resolve any customer complaints or process issues.

• Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with marketing, operations, and credit teams to support sales initiatives.

  • Provide feedback from the field to help improve products and customer engagement.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in credit card or financial product sales.

• Prior experience leading a sales team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical, reporting, and organizational abilities.

• Ability to motivate and manage a high-performance sales team.

• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance (RBI, KYC, etc.).

KPIs / Success Metrics:

• Credit card acquisition numbers (team-based).

• Approval rates and application quality.

• Sales conversion ratios.

• Team retention and engagement.

• Compliance scores and audit results.
