Job Summary:
The telecaller is responsible for making outbound and/or receiving inbound calls to customers. Their main goal is to promote products or services, generate leads, confirm appointments, conduct surveys, or handle customer inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Calling: Make a high volume of calls daily to prospective or existing customers using a provided list.
• Sales & Lead Generation: Identify customer needs and pitch appropriate products or services. Generate qualified leads for the sales team.
• Inbound Calls: Professionally handle incoming calls from customers, answering questions and providing information.
• Customer Relationship Management: Maintain a professional and empathetic attitude while interacting with customers. Follow up on leads and customer queries in a timely manner.
• Record Keeping: Accurately update and maintain customer information and call logs in the company's CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
• Meet Targets: Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets for calls made, leads generated, sales closed, or other performance metrics.
• Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with product or service information, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
• Problem Resolution: Identify and escalate issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
