TELECALLER — BARKO THE PET STORE (Panchkula)

ROLE SUMMARY

Drive sales and customer retention over the phone across three fronts: pushing wholesale/distribution orders to shops and vets, following up on retail and grooming leads, and recovering pending payments. This is a target-driven calling role — high call volume, clean records, and steady follow-up.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Wholesale / Distribution (primary focus)

• Call pet shops, clinics, and vets in Panchkula, Zirakpur, Dhakoli, Peer Muchalla, and Chandimandir to take repeat orders and push new/slow-moving stock

• Share offers, new arrivals, and scheme updates; upsell higher-value SKUs

• Confirm order details, quantities, and dispatch timing with the despatch team

• Reactivate dormant accounts that haven't ordered recently

Retail + Grooming Follow-up

• Call and WhatsApp leads coming from Meta ads, walk-ins, and the website

• Book and confirm grooming appointments; call to fill empty slots

• Follow up after grooming/purchase for repeat visits and reviews

• Answer product and service queries; convert enquiries to visits/orders

Payment / Collection Follow-up

• Track pending payments from wholesale accounts and call to recover on time

• Send polite reminders, confirm payment dates, and escalate long-overdue cases to the Operations Manager

• Keep an accurate, updated ledger of outstanding balances

General

• Maintain daily call logs, order records, and follow-up lists (Excel/CRM/WhatsApp)

• Hit daily/weekly call and conversion targets

• Report daily numbers to the Operations Manager

REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent in Hindi and Punjabi; working English

• 6 months–2 years telecalling / tele-sales experience preferred (freshers with good communication considered)

• Comfortable with WhatsApp, calls, and basic Excel/data entry

• Persuasive, patient, and target-driven; good at follow-up without being pushy

• Local to Panchkula/Tricity preferred
