Technical Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling technically complex products or services to businesses or customers. They explain product features, understand customer needs, provide technical solutions, and close sales while maintaining long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and Develop Sales Opportunities
Research potential customers and markets
Generate new leads through calls, meetings, and networking
Maintain a strong sales pipeline
2. Understand Customer Requirements
Meet clients to understand their technical needs
Analyze problems and recommend suitable solutions
Provide product demonstrations and technical explanations
3. Present and Sell Products
Deliver technical presentations and product demos
Explain product specifications, benefits, and usage
Negotiate pricing and close sales deals
4. Coordinate with Technical Teams
Work with engineers or product teams for customized solutions
Communicate customer requirements to the development team
5. Prepare Proposals and Documentation
Create quotations and technical proposals
Prepare sales reports and maintain CRM records
6. Build Client Relationships
Maintain regular communication with customers
Provide post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction
7. Achieve Sales Targets
Meet monthly or quarterly sales goals
