Role Overview
The Study Visa Counselor will be responsible for guiding students and parents through the complete study abroad and visa process, from initial enquiry to visa filing and pre-departure. The role requires strong communication skills, counselling ability, and basic understanding of overseas education.
Key Responsibilities
Handle walk-in, call, and online enquiries for study abroad programs
Counsel students on course, university, and country options based on their profile and aspirations
Explain admission requirements, application process, timelines, and documentation
Coordinate with internal application and documentation teams for offer letters and admissions
Guide students and parents on visa process, financial documentation, and basic compliance
Maintain proper records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions in CRM/Excel
Achieve monthly targets related to counselling, applications, and conversions
Participate in seminars, events, and outreach activities as required
Ensure honest and ethical counselling without false promises
Candidate Profile
Education: Graduation in any stream (preferred: commerce, management, arts, or relevant field)
Experience:
Freshers or
6–12 months experience in study visa / immigration / overseas education counselling
Candidates from loan/credit card sales with strong communication and interest in study abroad may also be considered
Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi
Comfortable with calling, follow-ups, and target-oriented work
Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, internet, CRM)
Positive attitude, learning mindset, and professionalism with students and parents
Working Days & Timings
Days: Monday to Saturday (1 weekly off – as per company policy)
Timings: 09:30AM-07:00PM
Compensation
Salary: As per industry standards and candidate profile
Incentives: Performance-based incentives on conversions
