Job Description

The Store Supervisor will oversee operations at a high-volume mobile accessories distribution center handling both wholesale and retail channels. This role involves managing large inventories, supervising a sizable team, coordinating logistics, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment for bulk clients and walk-in customers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, target-driven, and experienced in managing fast-paced, multi-channel distribution environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store & Warehouse Operations

  • Oversee daily operations of a large-scale store and attached warehouse

  • Ensure efficient workflow across receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch

  • Implement and maintain SOPs for operational efficiency and safety

  • Monitor store layout, product categorization, and display standards

2. Sales & Business Development

  • Drive retail and wholesale sales to achieve aggressive revenue targets

  • Manage key wholesale accounts (dealers, resellers, bulk buyers)

  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling product lines

  • Support management in executing promotions and pricing strategies

3. Inventory & Supply Chain Management

  • Manage high-volume inventory across multiple product categories (chargers, cables, wearables, accessories, etc.)

  • Ensure real-time stock tracking using ERP/POS systems

  • Conduct periodic stock audits and minimize shrinkage or stock loss

  • Forecast demand and coordinate procurement with central purchasing teams

4. Team Leadership

  • Supervise, train, and manage a team of sales associates, warehouse staff, and billing executives

  • Allocate responsibilities across shifts and functions

  • Set performance KPIs and conduct regular evaluations

  • Foster a high-performance, accountable work culture

5. Billing, Accounts & Compliance

  • Oversee retail billing and wholesale invoicing processes

  • Ensure GST compliance, proper documentation, and accurate reporting

  • Monitor cash flow, credit sales, and outstanding payments from wholesale clients

  • Coordinate with accounts team for reconciliations

6. Logistics & Distribution

  • Coordinate dispatch operations for bulk orders and inter-branch transfers

  • Liaise with transporters and logistics partners for timely deliveries

  • Track shipments and resolve delivery issues

  • Optimize dispatch schedules to improve turnaround time

7. Vendor & Brand Coordination

  • Work closely with suppliers, brands, and distributors for stock planning

  • Ensure availability of fast-moving SKUs and new product launches

  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate where required

8. Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare detailed MIS reports on sales, inventory, and operations

  • Analyze trends to improve stock rotation and profitability

  • Report key metrics to senior management regularly

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or related field (preferred)

  • 4–8 years of experience in retail/wholesale distribution, preferably in mobile accessories, electronics,

  • Experience handling large teams and high-volume operations
