THE AMETHYST STORE is an upcoming premium destination for exquisite fine jewelry, known for its commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and unique designs. We are launching our flagship store in Hyderabad and are seeking a seasoned professional to lead operations and establish a strong brand presence in the city.
We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Store Manager with a strong background in the jewelry retail industry (8–12 years minimum). This leadership role will be crucial in launching and managing the store's daily operations, building a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences from day one.
Assist in setting up the store – layout planning, fixtures, product display, and visual merchandising.
Recruit, train, and onboard store staff with a focus on luxury service and product knowledge.
Coordinate with head office and vendors for stock planning and inventory setup.
Drive high-value sales and meet store targets through effective customer engagement and relationship building.
Ensure luxury service standards are met at all touchpoints.
Handle high-net-worth clientele with discretion, trust, and personalized service.
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals and support staff.
Implement performance management systems and employee development plans.
Ensure staff maintain deep product knowledge and refined customer service etiquette.
Oversee store operations, stock handling, security protocols, and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, especially those related to jewelry handling, billing, and customer confidentiality.
Implement loss prevention and safety measures specific to high-value inventory.
Manage inventory, reorder levels, and periodic stock audits.
Supervise jewelry displays and merchandising in line with brand aesthetics.
Work with the merchandising team to introduce collections based on customer preferences and trends.
Provide regular reports on sales, staff performance, and customer feedback.
Analyze sales data to guide promotional strategies and store planning.
Offer insights for brand development and customer engagement strategies at the store level.
Minimum 8–12 years of experience in jewelry retail, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of gold, diamond, and other precious jewelry segments.
Proven ability to handle high-value transactions and discerning customers.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Fluent in English, Hindi, and Telugu (preferred).
Proficiency in retail software, POS systems, and inventory management tools.
