🔹 About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement / Sourcing Executive to manage the end-to-end procurement operations for red meat, livestock, fresh and frozen categories. The role involves managing the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, developing supplier networks, ensuring quality compliance, and supporting daily on-ground operations.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

1.        Manage the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle daily – from requirement collection to payment closure.

2.        Create Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) in the system.

3.        Source vendors, obtain quotations, compare rates, and conduct price & commercial negotiations.

4.        Finalize procurement terms and maintain long-term vendor relationships.

5.        Coordinate closely with site teams, farms, slaughterhouses, cold storages, and suppliers to ensure timely material delivery.

6.        Monitor quality parameters, yield, and cold chain conditions for red meat and fresh products.

7.        Handle invoice verification, payment follow-ups, and reconciliation with Finance teams.

8.        Maintain proper documentation for all procurement transactions and ensure audit & policy compliance.

9.        Resolve supply issues through effective cross-functional coordination with Operations, Quality, and Finance.

10.   Support vendor onboarding, farm-level sourcing, capacity assessment, and price benchmarking.

🔹 What We Are Looking For

1.        Bachelor’s degree in agriculture / veterinary / food technology / supply chain (preferred).

2.        1+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement of red meat, livestock, fresh food, or frozen category.

3.        Strong understanding of red meat supply chain, quality parameters, yield calculations, and cold chain operations.

4.        Experience in vendor development, farm-level sourcing, and supplier capability evaluation.

5.        Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.

6.        Ability to handle on-ground operations, solve issues quickly, and work in a fast-paced environment.

7.        Good analytical skills and data-driven decision-making approach.
