Job Summary:
Truveta Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Liaison Manager to coordinate and maintain effective relationships with government departments, utilities, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth approvals, permits, and clearances for solar power projects across India. The role involves end-to-end liaisoning support throughout project development, execution, and commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with government departments, DISCOMs, MNRE, State Nodal Agencies, and local authorities for all required approvals and permissions across Pan India projects.
Handle statutory clearances, licenses, and permits for solar rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
Coordinate net metering approvals, grid connectivity permissions, commissioning certificates, and power evacuation approvals.
Follow up on file processing, documentation, and application submissions with concerned authorities.
Ensure compliance with state and central renewable energy policies, rules, and regulations.
Support land-related approvals, including land conversion, Right of Way (ROW) permissions, and local body NOCs, where applicable.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with officials to expedite approval processes.
Track approval timelines and provide regular progress updates to management.
Assist in resolving queries, objections, or issues raised by authorities during project execution.
Coordinate with internal teams such as Engineering, Procurement, Legal, and Finance to ensure documentation accuracy and compliance.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of solar project approvals and government procedures
Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with government officials
Good understanding of renewable energy policies and DISCOM processes
Strong follow-up, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in documentation and reporting
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, Law, or a related field
Certifications in Renewable Energy or Project Management will be an added advantage
Experience:
2–5 years of experience in liaisoning or government coordination roles
Prior experience in solar, renewable energy, power, or infrastructure projects preferred
Experience dealing with DISCOMs and government authorities is mandatory
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Strong Pan India project exposure with local regulatory knowledge
Willingness to travel extensively as per project requirements
Result-oriented with strong execution and follow-through skills
