SIM Card Management Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking a SIM Card Management Specialist to oversee the provisioning, activation, monitoring, inventory management, and lifecycle administration of SIM cards across the organization. The role involves coordinating with telecom providers, maintaining accurate records, ensuring service continuity, and optimizing mobile connectivity costs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of SIM cards, including procurement, activation, suspension, replacement, and deactivation.
Maintain accurate SIM inventory and asset tracking records.
Coordinate with telecom operators and vendors for service requests and issue resolution.
Monitor SIM usage, data consumption, and billing to identify anomalies and cost-saving opportunities.
Support employee onboarding and offboarding by provisioning and recovering SIM assets.
Ensure compliance with company policies and telecom regulations.
Troubleshoot connectivity, network, and mobile device-related issues.
Generate periodic reports on SIM utilization, expenses, and inventory status.
Manage mobile number portability (MNP), SIM swaps, and eSIM deployments where applicable.
Collaborate with IT, procurement, and finance teams for telecom asset management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–5 years of experience in telecom operations, mobility management, or asset management.
Knowledge of SIM provisioning, telecom billing, and mobile network services.
Experience with asset management or telecom management platforms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
