Role Overview:
The Sales Officer / Senior Sales Officer will be responsible for driving sales growth and market execution across the assigned territory by managing distributors and retail outlets. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, executing trade initiatives, and strengthening distributor and retailer relationships across General Trade (GT) and Semi-Modern Trade (SMT).
Key Responsibilities:
Manage distributors and retail outlets in the assigned territory (GT & SMT).
Achieve primary and secondary sales targets for assigned brands.
Execute trade schemes, promotions, visibility, and merchandising plans effectively.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key retailers.
Monitor market execution, availability, and competitor activity.
Track sales performance and submit regular sales reports and market feedback.
Requirements:
Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred).
2–5 years of experience in FMCG sales (GT/SMT); Beverages / FMCG Foods experience preferred.
Strong negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
Proficiency in basic reporting and sales tracking.
Target-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable with field-based roles.
