Overview
The Class Of One seeks a results-driven Sales Trainer with 2+ years of experience. Preferably from School or EdTech sectors, to design, deliver, and continually optimise training that drives sales excellence. A strong foundation in sales, exceptional communication abilities, and a passion for learning development are essential.
Salary Range – Rs. 30,000 to 50,000 PM
Key Responsibilities
Design & Deliver Training: Conduct comprehensive modules on product knowledge, consultative selling techniques, admission-counsellor soft skills, and communication best practices.
Learning Process Documentation: Develop onboarding guides, training manuals, and playbooks for new hires.
Skills Assessment: Create and utilise evaluation tools (quizzes, role-play debriefs) to assess Admission Counsellor trainee readiness.
Quality Monitoring: Regularly review admission calls, provide structured feedback, and implement remedial coaching plans to enhance performance.
Gap Analysis & Curriculum Updates: Identify training needs through performance data, continuously refine content, tools, and training cadence.
Collaboration: Work closely with sales leads and senior management to align training with business goals and KPIs.
Training Metrics Reporting: Track and report on trainee progress, course effectiveness, and impact on admission conversion rates.
Requirements
Experience: 1-2 years as a Sales Trainer or Sales Coach; EdTech or school-industry experience preferred.
Sales Background: Prior experience in sales (e.g. Admission Counsellor, Business Development) is advantageous.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication; strong presentation skills.
Trainer Tools: Comfortable designing e-learning modules, in-person workshops, and blended learning content.
Analytical Mindset: Capable of analysing call data and training results to drive insights and improvement.
Organisational Excellence: Proven ability to manage full training cycles, maintain documentation, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with role-plays, simulations, or interactive workshops as instructional techniques.
Familiarity with CRM systems and LMS/eLearning platforms.
Experience coaching entry-level and experienced Admission Counsellors in Educational/SaaS environments.
