The Sales Officer is responsible for generating sales of vehicles, achieving monthly targets, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive products, negotiation skills, and the ability to convert leads into successful sales.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for new/used vehicles.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrate vehicle features to prospective customers.
Follow up on leads from walk-ins, online inquiries, referrals, and outbound calls.
Conduct test drives and highlight key features and benefits to customers.
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicle models and finance options.
Maintain customer database and ensure timely follow-ups for sales conversions and after-sales satisfaction.
Assist customers with vehicle booking, finance, insurance, and registration processes.
Ensure all sales documentation and statutory requirements are accurate and complete.
Coordinate with finance & insurance teams, delivery coordinators, and service departments.
Stay updated on competitor products, pricing, promotions, and market trends.
Provide feedback to management on customer preferences and market demands.
Maintain a professional appearance and uphold brand image.
Ensure showroom display vehicles are in perfect presentable condition.
Participate in promotional events, roadshows, and corporate activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent (preferred).
High school diploma or vocational training with relevant experience (acceptable).
1–3 years of sales experience in the automobile industry preferred.
Freshers with strong communication skills may be considered.
