Job Title: Procurement Executive

EnviPack is an Indian Startup, founded in March 2023. As a bootstrapped company, we are building India’s largest procurement platform which helps D2C, E-commerce, Logistics, Agritech and Hotel Industries with their end-to-end procurement of Packaging Materials, Consumable Supplies and Bed Bath and Linen.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to join our team. The Procurement Executive will play a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring packaging materials from suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining optimal inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of procurement processes within the packaging industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Source and evaluate potential suppliers of packaging materials, assessing factors such as quality, price, and reliability.
2. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions for EnviPack.
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, operations, and finance teams, to understand procurement requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with existing suppliers, monitoring performance and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
5. Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supply chain optimization within the procurement function.
6. Prepare and analyze procurement reports, tracking key performance metrics such as supplier performance, inventory levels, and cost savings.
7. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
8. Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies and initiatives to enhance EnviPack's competitive position in the market.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably within the packaging industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
