To support our growth, we are hiring a Sales Manager – Stock Broking who will take ownership of building and leading a high-performance team. The selected candidate will be responsible for hiring their own team through references and active coordination with our in-house HR recruiter. This is a leadership opportunity for those who can not only drive revenue but also shape and scale a thriving sales vertical.
Job Overview
This is a build-and-lead opportunity: the Sales Manager will be responsible for hiring, training, and managing a team of tele sales or field sales professionals focused on selling Demat accounts, equity products, mutual funds, and IPO investments.
You are expected to bring strong hiring referrals from your professional network and collaborate closely with our internal HR recruiter to build the right team. The role demands sharp leadership, deep understanding of the stock broking business, and the ability to scale operations quickly.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Building & Hiring
Proactively hire a sales team of 5 to 15 members using your personal/professional references, industry contacts, and hiring platforms.
Work closely with our internal HR recruiter to streamline hiring efforts — including screening, interviews, onboarding, and induction.
Ensure your team is onboarded within 15–30 days of joining the organization.
2. Sales Management & Leadership
Lead the team in selling Demat accounts, mutual funds, equity, and IPO products through tele sales and field sales campaigns.
Assign daily targets and coach the team on effective communication, prospecting, and objection handling.
Maintain a high conversion rate and monitor sales hygiene, compliance, and KYC completion.
3. Performance Tracking & Reporting
Use CRM tools and Excel sheets to track performance, lead progress, and revenue contribution.
Conduct daily stand-ups, team huddles, and reviews to ensure accountability and growth.
Share regular performance reports and insights with the Franchise Head.
4. Coaching & Motivation
Conduct product training sessions, mock pitches, and role plays for team improvement.
Establish a culture of meritocracy through recognition, incentives, and career development.
Identify potential team leaders and help them grow into future managerial roles.
5. Compliance & Client Service
Ensure your team follows SEBI regulations, Angel One’s operational protocols, and all required KYC norms.
Drive service excellence by emphasizing long-term client relationships, not just one-time closures.
Who Should Apply
Sales professionals with 3–6 years of experience in stock broking, banking, insurance sales, credit card sales, or BPO tele sales.
Current Team Leads, Sales Managers, or Assistant Managers with a background in handling 5–15 team members.
Professionals with a strong network in the financial services industry and a proven ability to attract and build high-performing teams.
Individuals with the drive to build a sales vertical from scratch, not just inherit an existing team.

Work Days: Monday to Saturday (Second & Fourth Saturdays may be off based on team performance)
Office Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Important Notes
Bringing an existing team is NOT mandatory. However, the selected candidate must commit to building their own team through personal referrals, previous colleagues, and sourcing, in close partnership with our HR recruiter.
You must start team-building from Week 1 and aim to have your full team active within the first 30–45 days of joining.
This is a revenue-accountable leadership role. Candidates not comfortable with performance-driven environments need not apply.
