Job Title: Sales Development Manager – Banca Channel

Reports To: Branch Manager
The Sales Development Manager in the Banca Channel is responsible for driving life insurance sales through the bank’s branch network by building strong relationships with bank staff, providing training, and ensuring business targets are met.
Business Development:
Drive sales of life insurance products through partner bank branches.
Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets.
Identify potential customers from the bank’s database and generate leads.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain healthy relationships with branch managers, staff, and key decision-makers of the bank.
Act as the primary point of contact between the bank and the insurance company.
Sales & Customer Handling:
Conduct customer meetings, explain product features, and close sales.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
Training & Development:
Train and motivate bank staff to generate more business.
Provide product knowledge sessions and sales skill development.
Reporting & Compliance:
Maintain daily sales reports and MIS.
Ensure compliance with company policies, IRDAI guidelines, and banking norms.
Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline.
1–5 years of experience in sales (preferably BFSI sector).
Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets.
Strong relationship management skills.
