Job Description

Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Solar Sales
Department: Sales
Location: Chennai, Bangalore, Karnataka
Company: Surya International Enterprise Pvt. Ltd.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead our solar sales operations in the southern region, including Chennai, Bangalore, and across Karnataka. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in solar product sales, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build and manage a high-performing sales team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional targets.

  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships in the solar industry.

  • Lead and manage a team of Sales Executives and Channel Partners.

  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, EPC companies, and distributors.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.

  • Ensure regular reporting on sales performance and forecasting.

  • Organize product presentations, site visits, and technical discussions with clients.

  • Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, finance, service) to ensure smooth execution.

  • Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and marketing campaigns.


Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 to 7 years of experience in solar sales (rooftop/commercial/industrial/ground-mounted projects).

  • Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, products, and the renewable energy sector.

  • Proven ability to lead regional sales and achieve targets.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.


Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).


Compensation:

  • Salary: As per industry standards + Incentives + Allowances.
