Job Description for Territory Sales Manager
· Business development and new client generation within the circle/Area/Branch area
· Controls and directs the functions and operations of all logistics personnel in support of Customer Services.
· Ensures all field logistics operational processes governing the ordering, stocking, disbursement, processing, and shipment of service parts inventory are performed properly within the circle/Area/Branch area
· Vendor development for future requirements.
· Streamline and standardize the vendor on-boarding process.
· Monitor and manage the transportation network. Ownership for demand & Supply planning process and making sure the customer receives the order in time
· Reduce the transit time and contribute to the overall TAT reduction.
· Implement, document and improve processes on information flow, vendor on-boarding, escalation handling and other logistics related activities
· Schedule deliveries and pick-ups and optimize routes and processes
· Familiarity with transport regulations in different states.
· Monitoring supplier performance, vendor rating, ensuring settlement of creditor’s accounts & cost reduction in direct & indirect materials.
