We are looking for a AQUACULTURE FIRM MANAGER to join our team MAA MANGALA TRADERS PVT. LTD. .This role involves oversees daily operations on a farm that raises aquatic organisms, managing staff, maintaining water quality and equipment, monitoring health and feeding cycles, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and financial goals . The position offers an in-hand salary according to experience Rs 18,000 - Rs 20,000 and opportunities for career growth.
Key Responsibilities
Farm Operations:
Manage the day-to-day activities of the farm, including feeding, stocking, and harvesting aquatic species.
Water Quality:
Monitor and maintain optimal water quality for the health and growth of aquatic organisms.
Health & Welfare:
Administer health management programs, including quarantine and transport protocols, to prevent disease and ensure animal welfare.
Equipment & Infrastructure:
Oversee the selection, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and farm infrastructure, such as ponds, tanks, and pens.
Staff Management:
Hire, train, and supervise farm staff, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and farm operational procedures.
Record Keeping & Data Analysis:
Maintain accurate records of stock performance, mortality, and other farm data to evaluate efficiency and make informed decisions.
Budget & Financial Management:
Develop and manage the farm's budget, monitor expenses, and ensure financial goals are met.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure the farm operates in compliance with all environmental and safety regulations, particularly regarding the use of chemicals and other resources.
Research & Development:
May be involved in developing new culture techniques and implementing strategies to improve farm efficiency and productivity.
