Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Unit Manager – Insurance to build and develop a network of Insurance Distributor partners under the NJ India Invest ecosystem. The role involves partner onboarding, activation, training, business development support, and relationship management to drive sustainable business growth through the partner network.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their insurance and protection requirements.
Recommend suitable Life Insurance, Health Insurance, and Protection Planning solutions based on client needs.
Explain policy features, coverage, benefits, riders, and claim processes to clients.
Assist clients with policy issuance, documentation, and onboarding processes.
Support clients with policy renewals, servicing requests, and coverage reviews.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell insurance products.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy details, and business activities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Develop and maintain long-term client relationships through consistent engagement.
Achieve assigned premium generation and business targets.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
Customer-centric approach with strong advisory skills.
Ability to explain financial products clearly and confidently.
Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.

Must possess a personal vehicle and a valid driving licence for work-related travel.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduate in any discipline.
Experience in Insurance Sales, Financial Services, Banking, Wealth Management, or Customer Advisory roles is preferred.
Experience in Life Insurance, Health Insurance, or General Insurance sales will be preferred.
IRDAI certification will be an added advantage.
Freshers with strong communication and sales aptitude may also be considered.
