Designation - Key Account Manager
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership:
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of sales professionals to excel individually and collectively.
- Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
2. Sales Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies, plans, and initiatives to boost revenue growth and market share.
- Continuously evaluate and adapt strategies to meet evolving market demands.
3. Client Engagement:
- Build and nurture strong client relationships, understanding their unique needs, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Act as a point of escalation for client issues, resolving them promptly and effectively.
4. Target Achievement:
- Establish and oversee sales targets for the team, offering guidance and support to ensure consistent goal attainment.
- Implement performance metrics and KPIs to monitor progress.
5. Travel:
- Be willing and available for frequent travel, visiting clients, attending industry events, and identifying new business opportunities.
6. Performance Analysis:
- Analyse sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Make data-driven decisions to optimize sales processes.
7. Team Development:
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
8. Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, sales forecasting, and market insights for management and stakeholders.
- Present findings and recommendations effectively.
9. Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align sales strategies with organizational goals.
10. Budget Management:
- Manage and optimize the sales team's budget, including expenses related to travel, events, and promotional activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience in the IT industry.
- Proven experience as a team lead or manager with a track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Results-oriented with the ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.
- Knowledge of IT products and services is highly desirable.
