Job Description – General Manager (GM – Civil)

Company: Manglam Group
Department: Projects / Civil Engineering
Location: Jaipur (Head Office & Project Sites)
Reporting To: Director / Managing Director


Role Overview:

The GM – Civil will lead the complete civil and project management function of Manglam Group. Responsible for end-to-end project planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery, ensuring adherence to design, cost, and time parameters. The role requires strategic leadership, technical expertise, and strong stakeholder management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all ongoing and upcoming projects of the Group.

  • Prepare project budgets, cost forecasts, and execution plans.

  • Ensure timely completion of projects with focus on quality and safety.

  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, government authorities, and contractors.

  • Evaluate and finalize contracts, BOQs, and technical specifications.

  • Implement modern project management systems and monitoring tools.

  • Review design drawings, progress reports, and site issues for prompt resolution.

  • Manage multidisciplinary teams across multiple project locations.

  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with statutory norms.

  • Report to senior management on project performance and strategic planning.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

  • In-depth understanding of real estate construction practices.

  • Expertise in project scheduling, cost control, and vendor management.

  • Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office Suite.

Qualification & Experience:

  • B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech preferred).

  • 5-10 years of experience in  township projects, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
