The Event Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue by selling event spaces, sponsorships, exhibition stalls, and related event services. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring high client satisfaction while achieving sales targets.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve event sales targets.
Sell sponsorships, exhibition spaces, advertising packages, and premium event services.
Prepare customized proposals, sales pitches, and presentations for potential clients.
Negotiate contracts, finalize deals, and ensure timely payments.
Identify, approach, and onboard new clients across industries.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients for repeat business.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients before, during, and after the event.
Generate and qualify leads through networking, cold-calling, referrals, and partnerships.
Work closely with the event operations team to ensure client requirements are executed effectively.
Provide input on event formats, pricing, and sponsorship packages based on market feedback.
Attend events to ensure smooth execution and maintain client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of sales leads, pipelines, and closed deals.
Provide weekly and monthly sales performance reports to management.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience: 3–7 years in B2B sales, preferably in event management, exhibitions, or sponsorship sales.
