Role Summary:
We’re seeking a driven and experienced Sales Manager who can own and grow both B2B (corporates, colleges, partners) and B2C (individual professionals, students) business verticals. You will be responsible for revenue generation, lead conversion, key account management, team handling, and strategic partnership development.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 B2B Sales (Enterprise & Institutional):
Identify, target, and close business deals with corporate clients, colleges, and channel partners for bulk training/certification needs.
Work with HR, L&D, and technical managers to pitch custom training solutions.
Develop strategic partnerships with educational institutions and corporate academies.
Create and present proposals, respond to RFPs, and negotiate long-term contracts.
Drive revenue from Red Hat Learning Subscriptions (RHLS), classroom trainings, and
ATP offerings.
🔹 B2C Sales (Individual Learners):
Build and maintain pipelines through inbound and outbound sales efforts.
Consult and counsel individual learners on career-oriented training programs (e.g.,
RHCSA, RHCE, OpenShift, Mirantis Kubernetes).
Upsell and cross-sell advanced certification packages and add-on services.
Ensure exceptional customer experience from lead stage to post-sale engagement.
🔹 Team & Performance Management:
Lead and mentor a team of inside sales executives and tele-callers.
Set monthly/quarterly revenue targets and ensure team alignment through regular
reviews.
Monitor KPIs, CRM usage, and sales discipline across the team.
🔹 Collaboration & Reporting:
Work closely with marketing teams to design campaigns, webinars, and lead-generation initiatives.
Provide market feedback to product and delivery teams to refine offerings.
Prepare weekly/monthly sales forecasts, reports, and performance dashboards.
Requirements:
4–7 years of hands-on sales experience in EdTech, IT Training, SaaS, or Certification businesses.
Proven track record in closing B2B and B2C deals.
Strong communication, consultative selling, and relationship management skills.
Working knowledge of Red Hat, Kubernetes, DevOps, or cloud certification ecosystems
is a plus.
Proficiency with CRM tools like Zoho CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.
Ability to manage pressure and work in a target-driven environment.
Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred.
