Job Description – City Head (Jaipur)
Battery Pool is India’s fast-growing EV battery-as-a-service platform, focused on building reliable, scalable, and sustainable energy infrastructure for electric mobility. We are driving innovation in battery swapping and EV fleet support, powering the next phase of clean urban transportation.
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented City Head to lead and scale operations in Jaipur and adjoining cities. The City Head will be accountable for driving sales, ensuring smooth operations, managing supply and inventory, mentoring the team, and ensuring business profitability in the region. This is a high-impact leadership role at the city level.
● • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and deployment targets
● • Expand customer base through strategic partnerships, field sales, and local marketing
● • Drive battery deployment ratio across fleets and customers
● • Identify and develop new market opportunities in Jaipur and nearby towns
● • Oversee end-to-end daily operations, ensuring uptime and service quality
● • Manage inventory and optimize battery logistics and supply chain
● • Coordinate efficient deployment and rotation of batteries to meet demand
● • Mentor and motivate city-level operations, sales, and support staff
● • Hire, train, and onboard new team members in coordination with HR
● • Build a high-performing, customer-obsessed local team culture
● • Act as the escalation point for key customer issues
● • Monitor service quality, uptime, and satisfaction metrics
● • Maintain strong relationships with channel partners and franchisees
● • Ensure partner performance, alignment with SOPs, and local expansion
● • Own the city’s P&L and optimize for cost efficiency and operational ROI
● • Drive initiatives for cost control, process improvement, and lean operations
● • Share periodic business reports, forecasts, and insights with the Regional Business Head
● • Align city performance with the national vision and company growth roadmap
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Engineering, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in sales/operations/territory management
• Prior experience in EV, logistics, mobility, or B2B services is a strong plus
• Proven team leadership and multi-stakeholder management ability
