Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy and P&L Ownership
Develop, implement, and track a multi-year D2C sales strategy aligned with overall business goals.
Own the D2C revenue P&L, driving initiatives to maximize Average Order Value (AOV), conversion rates, and repeat purchase metrics.
Conduct deep-dive analysis on sales performance, customer churn, and market trends to adjust tactics in real-time.
2. Channel Management and Optimization
Oversee the performance and optimization of all direct digital sales channels (e-commerce website, mobile apps).
Manage relationships and sales performance within key third-party marketplaces (if applicable).
Collaborate with the Product/Tech team to ensure the sales platform provides a frictionless customer experience.
3. Leadership and Team Development
Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting clear KPIs, providing coaching, and managing performance reviews.
Foster a data-driven sales culture focused on experimentation, accountability, and customer satisfaction.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with the Marketing team to align sales goals with demand generation, merchandising, and promotional calendars.
Work with the Supply Chain/Operations team to ensure accurate sales forecasting, inventory management, and fulfilment capacity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of progressive experience in Sales in Pharmaceutical and Cosmeceuticals industry, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within a D2C.
Proven track record of scaling an e-commerce business and managing revenue goals.
Expertise in e-commerce platforms and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Graduate or Post Graduate in B.Pharma/M.Bharma/BBA/MBA
Salary Range: 5-10 LPA
