Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager – Polymers to drive business growth and manage the sales of polymers. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in polymer trading, client relationship management and business development. This role requires a deep understanding of the polymer industry, market trends, and supplier networks to maximize profitability and expand market reach.
Responsibilities:
1. Meet and exceed sales targets, demonstrating a strong ability to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives.
2. Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the company’s presence in polymer trading.
3. Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and competitor activities to optimize sales strategies.
4. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with clients and suppliers to ensure cost-effective deals.
5. Drive new business development while maintaining and growing existing client relationships.
6. Collaborate with internal teams, including finance and logistics, to streamline sales operations.
7. Provide sales forecasts, market insights, and performance reports to management.
8. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events and networking forums to build brand presence.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Plastic Engineering, Polymer Science, Chemistry, or from CIPET (Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology), or any other related field.
2. Minimum 4+ years of experience in polymer trading and sales.
3. Strong negotiation, communication, and client management skills.
4. In-depth knowledge of the polymer industry and supply chains.
5. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and ERP systems.
