Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Head to lead and scale our sales operations. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and executing effective sales strategies, and building a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a strong focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Growth
Develop and execute data-driven sales strategies aligned with business objectives
Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding market reach
Define and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity to continuously refine sales strategies
Team Management
Lead and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team targets
Establish clear KPIs and performance expectations
Monitor team performance through regular reviews
Provide coaching and guidance to improve team productivity and outcomes
Key Skills & Competencies
Core Skills
Strong sales and negotiation capabilities with a proven track record of achieving targets
Expertise in sales planning, forecasting, and pipeline management
Hands-on experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM
Strong understanding of the EdTech industry, online learning models, and digital education products
Experience in selling academic programs (CBSE, NEET, JEE or similar) to students and parents
Experience in managing high-volume student/parent leads and conversion funnels
Ability to collaborate with academic/content teams for product alignment and feedback
Familiarity with inside sales, telesales, and remote selling models common in EdTech
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Proven experience in sales with consistent achievement or exceeding of targets
