Sales & Freight Forwarding Manager

We are looking for a Sales & Freight Forwarding Manager to join our team at Apextar Shipping Corporation. This role involves finds new clients, sells international shipping services, and manages client accounts to move goods overseas.

You will work as an important part of the supply chain department. The position offers per month ₹25,000 - ₹60,000 and opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation and Sales

• Find new customers by cold calling, sending emails, and researching online exporter databases.

• Meet clients to understand their international shipping needs and trade lanes.

• Set up face-to-face meetings or virtual calls to pitch logistics solutions.

• Meet or beat quarterly and yearly revenue and volume targets.

  Quotations and Pricing

• Prepare export freight quotes for air, ocean, road, or rail transport.

• Negotiate rates with shipping lines, airlines, and international agents.

• Calculate transport costs, insurance, and handling fees for clients

  Account Management and Coordination

• Serve as the main contact person for client questions and concerns.

• Coordinate bookings, pickups, and delivery schedules with operations teams.

• Ensure accurate export documentation, such as manifests and product lists, complies with global trade laws.

• Work with internal staff to fix shipment delays or resolve service issues.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 2 - 5 years of experience. Strong organizational skills, time-management, and basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking are important for this role.

• It is a Full Time Sales / Business Development job for candidates with 2 - 5 years of experience.
