Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced B2B Sales Representative to drive growth in our third party and contract manufacturing division, targeting ethical pharmaceutical marketing companies. This role requires deep knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing and strong B2B sales skills to build partnerships with branded pharma marketing houses seeking reliable pharmaceutical partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
Identify and approach ethical pharma marketing companies looking for third-party or contract manufacturing partners.
• Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their product requirements, formulations, and brand strategies.
• Proposal Development & Negotiation:
Share manufacturing capabilities, discuss technical feasibility, pricing, MOQs, lead times, and quality standards. Close deals through effective communication and negotiation.
• Products Coordination:
Liaise with internal departments (regulatory, production, QA/QC, logistics) to ensure smooth on boarding and execution of client projects.
• Market Intelligence:
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory updates affecting the third-party manufacturing ecosystem.
• Sales Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, closures, and forecasts in CRM. Submit periodic sales and pipeline reports to management.
Requirements:
• Graduate full time Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, BBA/ M-Pharm/ BSE etc.
• 2–6 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in third-party manufacturing or pharma contract manufacturing services.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes (oral solids, liquids, injectable, etc.) and regulatory compliance (WHO-GMP, Schedule M, and GMP guidelines etc.)
• Existing network of ethical pharma marketing companies is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel extensively for client meetings and industry expos.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in dealing with ethical pharma clients.
• Knowledge of documentation processes (LOIs, POs, product approval, and packaging development).
• Ability to handle multiple client accounts and deliver customized manufacturing solutions.
