Overview:

The Export Executive will assist in various aspects of the export process, gaining hands-on experience in international trade and logistics. This role is ideal for individuals interested in pursuing a career in export management, global business, or related fields. The intern will work closely with the export team, supporting day-to-day operations and contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the export department.

Responsibilities:

1. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential export opportunities, analyze market trends, and gather information on competitors and target markets.

2. Communication: Correspond with international clients, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to coordinate shipments, resolve inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service.

3. Documentation Preparation: Assist in preparing and organizing export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping documents.

4. Compliance Support: Learn and adhere to export regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring all shipments comply with international trade laws and regulations.

5. Logistics Coordination: Assist in coordinating the logistics of export shipments, including booking freight, arranging transportation, and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery.

6. Data Entry and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of export transactions, input data into relevant systems, and generate reports as needed.

7. Support Export Team: Provide administrative support to the export team as needed, including filing documents, organizing files, and completing miscellaneous tasks to ensure smooth departmental operations.

8. Learning and Development: Actively participate in training sessions and educational opportunities to enhance understanding of export processes, international trade, and related topics.

9. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the export department, offering suggestions for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Complete Post Graduation Degree (MBA in International Business will be preferred).

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Familiarity with export regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.

• Prior internship or work experience in international trade or logistics is preferred but not required.
