Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
Identify and prospect for new corporate clients, groups, and event business to secure bookings and generate revenue.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans, promotions, and pricing strategies to achieve hotel revenue targets.
Contract Negotiation:
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to maximize revenue opportunities and ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
Market Analysis:
Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and business intelligence to identify new growth opportunities.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
Track sales performance, create and present regular sales reports, and provide forecasts to senior management.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other hotel departments, such as marketing and revenue management, to align sales efforts with overall business goals.
Promotional Activities:
Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to enhance brand awareness and support sales efforts.
Client Support & Site Inspections:
Host site inspections and familiarization trips for potential clients to showcase the hotel's facilities and ensure client satisfaction.
Networking:
Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and maintain brand visibility.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is often preferred.
Experience:
Proven experience in sales, ideally within the hospitality industry, is a strong asset.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for building strong client relationships.
