Job Summary:

A Floor Fabric Salesman assists customers in selecting fabrics and related materials, provides product knowledge, and ensures a smooth shopping experience. The role involves sales, customer service, and maintaining an organized and attractive display of fabrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers on the sales floor

• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable fabrics (cotton, silk, linen, etc.)

• Explain fabric types, quality, pricing, and usage

• Measure and cut fabric as per customer requirements

• Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of fabric displays

• Restock shelves and manage inventory on the floor

• Stay updated on new fabric trends and stock arrivals

• Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns professionally

Skills Required:

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Basic knowledge of fabrics and textiles

• Sales and persuasion skills

• Attention to detail (especially in measuring and cutting fabric)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum: High school (10th/12th pass)

• Experience in retail or textile sales preferred

• Knowledge of fabrics is a plus (training often provided)

• It is a Full Time Sales / Business Development job for candidates with 0 - 6+ years Experience.
