Job Description
Responsible for driving business growth in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar
segment by identifying opportunities, developing client relationships, and closing solar
EPC/PPA projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and generate new business opportunities in the C&I solar segment
(factories, warehouses, institutions, hospitals, IT parks, etc.).
Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through lead generation, market
mapping, and networking.
Engage with clients to understand energy requirements and propose customized
solar solutions.
Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals, including ROI, payback
analysis, and financial models.
Coordinate with design, engineering, purchase planning and estimation teams for
system sizing and feasibility studies.
Lead negotiations and contract closures with clients.
Work closely with legal, finance, and operations teams for agreement finalization
and project handover.
Track tenders, RFQs, and empanelment opportunities relevant to C&I solar
projects.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and policy changes related to solar
energy.
Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
Maintain accurate sales documentation and reports in CRM systems.
Key Skills:
Strong understanding of C&I solar business models (CAPEX, OPEX, PPA,
RESCO).
Knowledge of solar PV technology, rooftop and ground-mounted systems.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
Ability to prepare and interpret financial and technical proposals.
Strong communication and coordination abilities.
Result-oriented with a strategic sales mindset.
