We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our commodities trading business, specializing in DDGS, ethanol, animal feed, and other commodity products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing client relationships, generating sales, supporting procurement activities, and coordinating transportation services efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
• Use effective negotiation and persuasion skills to convert leads into successful sales.
• Manage the buying and selling process, including price discussions, order coordination, and follow-up.
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with customers, suppliers, transporters, and other business partners.
• Handle transportation-related services through telephone calls, including coordinating vehicle availability, dispatch schedules, delivery status, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, customers, and logistics partners to ensure timely order execution.
• Follow up on quotations, payments, deliveries, and customer feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client details, orders, and market information.
• Monitor market trends, product demand, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
• Achieve assigned sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Previous experience in sales, business development, commodity trading, procurement, or client servicing would be a plus point.
• Strong knowledge of sales techniques, client conversion, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Ability to handle both buying and selling activities confidently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Bengali is preferred.
• Comfortable communicating with clients and transport service providers over the phone.
• Dedicated, disciplined, self-motivated, and committed to achieving business objectives.
• Good follow-up skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and orders.
• Basic knowledge of computers, email, and spreadsheets.
• Ability to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with a team.

Knowledge or experience in any of the following areas will be an added advantage:
• DDGS and ethanol products.
