A Solar Tender Executive manages the entire bid process for solar projects, from finding opportunities on portals like GeM/CPPP to submitting final techno-commercial proposals, coordinating with engineering/finance, ensuring compliance, and liaising with clients for government and private tenders. Key tasks involve tender analysis, documentation, pricing, submission, and tracking, requiring strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills to win competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities:
Tender Identification: Monitor government (GeM, CPPP, DISCOMs) & private portals for opportunities.
Document Analysis: Review RFPs, RFQs, BOQs, and technical specs.
Coordination: Work with Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Sales for inputs.
Bid Preparation: Draft technical/financial proposals, compliance docs, and ensure quality.
Pricing: Collaborate with finance for competitive cost estimates and pricing models.
Submission: Compile and submit bids on time, ensuring compliance with standards.
Client Liaison: Communicate with clients, consultants, and vendors for clarifications.
Tracking & Reporting: Maintain tender trackers, database of results, and update management.
Market Research: Understand industry benchmarks and competitor pricing.
