Job Summary
The Relationship Manager (Sales) is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships while driving vehicle sales and achieving dealership revenue targets. The role involves identifying prospective customers, understanding their mobility needs, providing product consultations, managing the complete sales process, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience from inquiry to vehicle delivery and post-sales follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Generate new sales leads through walk-ins, referrals, digital enquiries, corporate sales, and field activities.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual vehicle sales targets.
Conduct customer need analysis and recommend suitable vehicle models and variants.
Deliver professional product presentations, demonstrations, and test drives.
Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing within dealership guidelines, and close sales effectively.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and follow up regularly with prospects.
Customer Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat purchases and referrals.
Ensure timely follow-up of enquiries through CRM.
Resolve customer concerns professionally and coordinate with relevant departments.
Maintain high customer satisfaction throughout the buying journey.
Conduct post-delivery follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and identify future business opportunities.
CRM & Lead Management
Manage all customer interactions using the dealership CRM system.
Update customer records, enquiry status, and follow-up activities accurately.
Ensure 100% closure or proper disposition of assigned leads.
Convert digital, telephonic, and showroom enquiries into sales opportunities.
Finance & Insurance Coordination
Coordinate with Finance & Insurance (F&I) executives for loan processing and insurance solutions.
Assist customers in completing documentation for financing and registration.
Explain finance schemes, exchange offers, and promotional campaigns.
Customer Experience
Ensure smooth vehicle booking, documentation, invoicing, and delivery.
Coordinate with accessories, service, and registration teams for timely delivery.
Deliver vehicles as per dealership standards.
Educate customers on vehicle features, warranty, maintenance schedules, and service benefits.
Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor products, pricing, schemes, and market trends.
Provide customer feedback and market insights to the Sales Manager.
Participate in marketing campaigns, roadshows, exhibitions, and promotional events.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure complete and accurate sales documentation.
Adhere to dealership SOPs and manufacturer guidelines.
Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
MBA (Marketing) preferred.
Experience
2–5 years of experience in automobile sales or relationship management.
Experience in passenger vehicle dealership sales preferred.
Fresh MBA graduates with strong sales aptitude may also be considered.
