We are looking for a Sales Engineer – New Business Development to drive new customer acquisition and business growth for our calibration and testing services. The ideal candidate will have a technical background along with proven experience in B2B sales, industrial sales, lead generation, customer visits, and business development.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for calibration and testing services.

• Generate new leads through market research, cold calling, references, networking, and industrial visits.

• Identify potential customers across manufacturing, engineering, automotive, pharmaceutical, electrical, electronics, and other industrial sectors.

• Visit prospective and existing customers to understand their calibration and testing requirements.

• Present and explain calibration services, capabilities, and technical solutions to customers.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with purchase, quality, maintenance, production, and engineering teams.

• Prepare and submit quotations, commercial proposals, and service offers.

• Follow up on quotations, enquiries, and proposals to convert leads into orders.

• Coordinate with the technical/service team to understand customer requirements and ensure suitable solutions.

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and business-development targets.

• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and regularly update CRM/customer records.

• Monitor competitors, market trends, customer requirements, and potential business opportunities.

• Identify opportunities for repeat business, additional services, and cross-selling.

• Negotiate with customers on commercial and service-related matters within company guidelines.

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and provide regular updates to management.

• Ensure timely collection of customer feedback and support resolution of commercial/service-related concerns.
