Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Solar Sales Assistant to support our sales team in generating leads and driving growth in the solar energy market.

Position Overview: As a Solar Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the sales team by generating leads, qualifying prospects, and assisting in the sales process from initial contact to closing. You will utilize your communication skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of solar energy products to educate potential customers and promote the benefits of solar energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Conduct market research to identify potential customers and target markets for solar energy products and services.

·         Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and referrals.

·         Qualify leads by assessing their needs, budget, and level of interest in solar energy solutions.

·         Schedule appointments and meetings for the sales team with qualified leads, and assist in coordinating sales presentations and demonstrations.

·         Provide information and guidance to potential customers on the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental impact, and government incentives.

·         Assist in preparing sales proposals, quotes, and contracts, and follow up with customers to answer questions and address concerns.

·         Maintain accurate records of lead generation activities, sales interactions, and customer communications in the CRM system.

·         Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement lead generation campaigns, promotional materials, and sales collateral.

·         Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities, and share insights and recommendations with the sales team.

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).

·         Proven experience in sales or customer service, with a focus on lead generation and conversion.

·         Knowledge of solar energy products, technologies, and industry trends is a plus.

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers.

·         Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

·         Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
