Position Title: Client Growth Executive – Sales-BD

Department: Sales and Business Development
Industry: Lift and Elevator
Location: Bangalore / Any
Reporting To: Assistant Sales Manager / Senior Sales Manager  

Purpose of the Role:
To promote and sell lift and elevator systems, including new installations, modernization The Sales Engineer is responsible for understanding customer requirements, providing technical solutions, preparing proposals, and closing deals that align with both customer needs and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation.

  • Conduct technical assessments of customer needs and propose customized lift solutions.

  • Provide product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers, architects, and consultants.

  • Prepare detailed proposals, cost estimates, and technical specifications for new projects.

  • Negotiate contract terms and close sales deals in alignment with company pricing strategies.

  • Follow up on leads, manage customer relationships, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Assist in the preparation of tenders, bids, and project proposals.

  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, and project management) to ensure timely delivery of solutions.

  • Maintain and update customer database, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and sales activities.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor products.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all sales activities.

  • Strong technical knowledge of lift systems, components, and installation processes.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to understand and interpret customer requirements and offer customized solutions.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a consultative sales approach.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

 

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.

Experience:

  • 0-5 years of experience in sales, technical sales, or business development, preferably in the Elevator Industry.

  1. Sales Revenue Generation:

    • Achieving or exceeding individual sales targets for new installations, modernization, and service contracts.

    • Maintaining a healthy sales pipeline and converting leads into successful sales.

  2. Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:

    • Building strong, long-term relationships with clients, including developers, architects, consultants, and end-users.

    • Responding to customer queries and providing timely and effective solutions.

  3. Technical Solution Delivery:

    • Ability to recommend and deliver technically sound, customized lift solutions to meet customer needs.

    • Ensuring all proposals are aligned with customer requirements, project specifications, and industry standards.

  4. Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis:

    • Staying up-to-date on industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.

    • Identifying new business opportunities based on market research and customer needs.

  5. Sales Process Efficiency:

    • Timely preparation and submission of proposals and tender documents.

    • Effective management of the sales pipeline, ensuring all leads are tracked and followed up promptly.
