We are seeking a dynamic and technically sound Sales Engineer to promote, sell, and support CNC and VMC machinery to industrial customers. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge of machine tools with excellent sales and customer relationship skills to drive business growth.
Promote and sell CNC machines, VMCs, HMCs, turning centers, and related automation solutions
Identify and develop new customers in manufacturing sectors such as automotive, aerospace, die & mold, precision engineering, and general manufacturing
Understand customer machining requirements and recommend suitable machine configurations
Conduct machine demonstrations, technical presentations, and feasibility studies
Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and cost justifications
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to close orders
Coordinate with application engineers for process proving, cycle time estimation, and tooling recommendations
Support installation, commissioning, and initial production trials
Maintain strong post-sales relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
Maintain accurate sales reports, CRM updates, and sales forecasts
Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Mechatronics
2–6 years of experience in sales or applications of CNC/VMC machinery (freshers with strong application knowledge may be considered)
Good understanding of:
CNC machining processes
Cutting tools and fixtures
G-code basics and machining cycles
Materials such as steel, aluminum, cast iron, and alloys
Familiarity with major CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Haas, etc.)
Strong technical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances
Customer-focused approach with consultative selling skills
Willingness to travel extensively
Basic computer skills (MS Office, CRM software)
