Job Description – Sales Engineer (Prefabricated Structural Buildings)

Job Location: Tambaram / Chennai
Department: Sales – Prefabricated Structural Buildings
Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹22,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Sales Engineer to promote and sell prefabricated structural buildings and related products. The candidate should have a technical background in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or relevant sales experience in prefabricated buildings and allied products.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the prefabricated structural building segment.

• Visit construction sites, builders, contractors, architects and potential customers to generate leads.

• Explain product specifications, technical features and benefits to customers.

• Understand customer requirements and coordinate with the technical team to provide suitable solutions.

• Prepare quotations, follow up on enquiries and convert leads into sales.

• Maintain strong customer relationships and achieve assigned sales targets.

• Conduct regular field visits and provide updates on sales activities.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or Civil Engineering is preferred; candidates with relevant sales experience in prefabricated structural buildings or related products may also apply.

• Experience: Candidates with relevant sales experience are preferred.

• Two-wheeler and a valid driving licence are mandatory.

• Tamil is mandatory; other languages are preferred.

• Good communication, negotiation and customer-handling skills.

• Willingness to travel for field sales and customer visits.

• Immediate joiners only.

Salary

₹18,000 – ₹22,000 per month, depending on qualification and experience.

• It is a Full Time Sales / Business Development job for candidates with 6 months - 4 years of experience.
