Job Summary
The Sales Engineer plays a key role in driving business growth by promoting and selling a wide range of medical equipment. This position requires a blend of technical understanding, strong communication, and customer-focused sales skills. The role involves regular field visits, product demonstrations, technical consultations, and coordination with internal teams to ensure
excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Market Development
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities across hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, and laboratories.
· Promote and sell medical equipment within the assigned region.
· Generate leads, deliver product presentations, and consistently achieve sales targets.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, biomedical engineers, purchase managers, and distributors.
2. Product Demonstration & Technical Support
· Conduct effective product demos and clearly explain technical features and benefits.
· Assist customers in choosing suitable equipment based on their clinical and operational needs.
· Provide basic troubleshooting and technical support (full training provided).
· Coordinate with service engineers for installations, preventive maintenance, and advanced support.
3. Customer Relationship Management
· Maintain regular follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve concerns.
· Build long-term relationships to promote repeat business and referrals.
· Address customer queries promptly and professionally.
4. Documentation & Reporting
· Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, and tender-related documents.
· Submit daily visit reports, sales forecasts, and market insights to management.
· Maintain accurate records of inquiries, quotations, sales status, and customer interactions.
5. Collaboration & Coordination
· Work closely with the service team to ensure smooth installations and technical assistance.
· Coordinate with the accounts team for timely payment follow-ups.
· Participate in product training sessions, marketing campaigns, and industry exhibitions.
Required Skills

Qualifications
· Diploma / Polytechnic /B.E. in Biomedical, Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
· 0-3 years of experience in sales (Freshers with strong communication skills are encouraged to apply)
· Experience in medical equipment sales will be an added advantage
